About this course
Originally developed for casualty care training in maritime search and rescue, you can use this comprehensive course for lifesaving everywhere. Whether for work, volunteering, or in day-to-day life, the skills you learn will keep you, your colleagues, your casualties and your family safe!
Successful completion will result in a certification that is valid for 3 years and is internationally recognised. Unlike most first aid courses, it uses an aide-memoire check card system, which massively reduces stress and does not rely on memory during high-pressure situations.
The check card system also allows the course material to be more advanced, leaving you equipped to treat more illnesses and injuries. The course is accessible for beginners or employees in any industry looking to learn first aid.
It is also relevant for medical professionals who wish to learn a system for casualty care that is thorough and methodical. It is taught by healthcare professionals ranging from paramedics to doctors and is audited by Saviour Medical, who developed the original casualty care course for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
